First off we have M'Baku the Man-Ape who is a character created by writer Roy Thomas and artist John Buscema. For the background I used pages from Avengers #62 (1969) and Avengers #78 (1970) which are his 1st and 2nd appearance.
And finally Morbius, the Living Vampire character created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Gil Kane. On this background I used pages from Vampire Tales #1 (1973)

While working on this drawings the soundtrack of Conan The Barbarian kept playing in my head. Best movie soundtrack ever!!

Also the intro song of the 90's oldschool Conan The Adventurer animated series LOL!!

Had a lot of fun drawing them. Bottom left Conan was hugely inspired by John Buscema. One of my favorite artist of all time. Anywho Hope y'all like!

A little something I did for fun inspired by old school 80's Diener Space creatures/Aliens eraser toy I found at home. Used to love this things. This toy is actually a design based after the Martians in the 1957 movie Invasion of the Saucer Men.

I always seen this character but never knew much about him. It wasn't till a couple of weeks ago I bought the Essential Luke Cage/Power Man vol. 1, and let me tell you this is one of the best of the "early" Marvel 70's comics that I've read. I love blaxploitation films and this is like that but on paper. Luke Cage is one bad mutha!

So back in July 2007 I was working on a freelance project for a Nintendo Wii Game. The job was to do textures for 4 of the game bosses. The outsource company I was working for did not know the title of the game at the time. All I knew was that on the game you could build and upgrade your Monsters from parts of others that you defeated. It was till Feb. this year while working on some other project with them that I found out the title of the Game MONSTER LAB. The game came out sometime Nov. 2008. I found this video of the game. On this video the 4 characters I worked on show, so I screen captured them.
